Documentary Photo Essay

How does one choose to live when time is running out? At day hospice Oasis@Outram, patients have the freedom to shape their final days. Everyday, the hospice offers a range of activities like pet therapy, manicures and horticulture.

The next photo essay follows 84-year-old Mdm Chan, a terminal cancer patient who spends her final days caring for her disabled son while confronting her own mortality.
