For several months, 84-year-old Mdm Chan, diagnosed with terminal cancer, had ceased all treatments. In a heartbreaking paradox, she spends her final days not being cared for, but caring for her 60-year-old son who is half-paralysed and unable to speak after a stroke. After his wife and daughter left him, Mdm Chan is his only visitor.
